Whenever in a discussion we have to compare two views lets say View A against View B the possible choices of the "method" of comparison that can be adopted by a person who is standing for view A can be:
1.View "A" is better than View "B"
2. View "A" is far better than View "B"
3. View "B" is nothing in comparison to View "A"
While the first two ways are moderate ways the third way is the most irritating one. And the greatest irony is that most of the people around us are people who follow the third path.
I believe that a true intellectual is a person who stands firmly by what he bilieves in but he is also open to consider the antithesis and if required is ready to modify or completely change his stand in light of a new discovery.
